Software publishers, distributors, and CD-R duplicators all need to verify the quality of their product to maximise customer satisfaction and avoid problems. If you are making CD-Recordables, you are now the manufacturer, and therefore responsible for quality control. Don't risk your reputation on product of unknown quality!

Logical Format Verification

CDX can compare your CD-Rs or replicas to the original source material on hard disk, CD-ROM, CD-R, or Exabyte tape. It also checks various aspects of CD-ROM formatting such as: Volume Descriptor, subcode skew, post gap size, and conformance to IS09660.

Error Rates and Pit Geometry

Looking at the number and severity of CIRC errors provides a good measure of disc quality. To confirm that the disc will have a high probability of playing on all readers, we provide an HF output for measuring pit geometry using an oscilloscope. The operator's manual fully explains how to interpret the data, and make measurements related to pit geometry such as I11, 13, Asymmetry, and Radial Contrast. A thorough analysis of disc performance is possible.

Warranty

All CDX are sold with a one-year warranty.
